The Economic Society of Singapore is holding its Annual A-Level Student Seminar on Sat 18 August at the Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre from 8.30 am - 12 noon. Topics discussed in the seminar include: Monetary Policy, The Asian Financial Crisis and The Property Market. There are only 50 seats alloted to each JC and CI.The seminar is open to all students and teachers of Millennia Institute.
The seminar fee is $8.00. However, you need to pay only about 40% of the fee, which is $3.00. Interested students are to give their names to your Economics teachers. Non-economic students who are interested are to give their names to their Home Tutors. Class representatives of all classes with students interested in attending the economics seminar please hand in your class namelist to Mr Lai by 12.00 noon tomorrow, ie Tuesday, 14 August. No late submissions will be entertained. Teachers who are interested in attending the seminar please let Mr Lai know also by Tuesday 14 August.

* We will need to ensure that you have a good grasp of all topics so that we know that you're ready for PU3. So if you happen to be thinking of picking topics, allow me to inform you that the weightage of the topics will be balanced across the 3 categories listed above.

Recommended time management:

30 mins for section B ~ 10 mins for 1 question
30 mins for section C
The timing includes skimming the questions, reading them properly, doing the questions, and double checking your answers and that you have answered the question asked.

Hello Millennians

You would have seen Mr Lim's message regarding the timetables and classlists.
The PU3 lists have the heading of "PU2"; our apologies, we'll try to correct them. If not, don't worry, you're in PU3 in 2007.

Flag-raising on Wed 3 Jan 2007 is at 8.00 am.
For Tuedays to Fridays, flag-raising will be at 8.00 am
On Mondays, you'll report only at 9.15 am for flag raising.
(Teachers report at 8.00 am as usual)

IRPs will be from 8.15 - 8.45 am on Tuedays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Any problems, please inform him or Mdm Lai Meei Ju or Mrs Chai (Lee)Gui Wei or me (Mrs Choy ).
You can call the office at 63023700 and let the staff know what the problem is. They will try to locate us.

More Stuffs...

On Wednesday (18/10)

We had a principal talk... ya..

it was as usual..very long...

however...

it was very encouraging.

On Friday (20/10)

We had our final results...

Some were happy.

Some were sad.

Sorrows and joys...

We missed chemistry lessons...

for unknown reasons...

not that we skipped lessons...

just that there were no lessons.

The class room turned into a badmiton court.

As all the tables were joined together...

there were sufficient space for games..

We had friendly matches.

and it was held from 9.10am to around 12.45 pm.

There are so many events that happened this term.

Firstly...
We had our major exams... the promotional exams...
After that... we had 2 days of break[sat and sun]before we continue with fun.

Day 1-MOnday
We had roller bladding @ East Coast Park..
followed by the movie screening.. Singapore Dreaming at plaza Singapura.
06S3 was located at HALL 9.

Day 2-Tuesday.
We had Dragon boating...
@ SDBA [Singapore Dragon Boat Association](Shld be lar..)
We were supposed to report @ 7.30am.
And we wore class tee!!!

Day 3-5: normal lessons.
